PM Ujjwala Yojana 2.0
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) भारत सरकार के Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas की प्रमुख योजना है। इसका उद्देश्य गरीब और वंचित परिवारों की महिलाओं को traditional cooking fuels जैसे लकड़ी, कोयला और उपले के स्थान पर clean cooking fuel यानी LPG उपलब्ध कराना है।
Ujjwala Yojana की शुरुआत 1 मई 2016 को हुई थी। इसके बाद Ujjwala 2.0 के तहत अतिरिक्त LPG connections देने और migrant households के लिए विशेष सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने का प्रावधान किया गया।
2026 में भी PMUY के तहत नए connections जारी किए जा रहे हैं। Official PMUY portal के अनुसार 26 अगस्त 2026 तक कुल 10,56,80,879 PMUY connections जारी किए जा चुके हैं और नवीनतम 25 लाख connections के extension के तहत 24,38,098 connections जारी हो चुके थे।
Ujjwala 2.0 क्या है?
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 PMUY का expanded phase है, जिसका उद्देश्य eligible गरीब households की adult women को LPG connection उपलब्ध कराना है।
Ujjwala 2.0 में migrant households के लिए भी विशेष सुविधा रखी गई थी, ताकि उन्हें LPG connection लेने में आसानी हो।
Ujjwala Yojana का मुख्य उद्देश्य क्या है?
इस योजना के प्रमुख उद्देश्य हैं:
- गरीब परिवारों को clean cooking fuel उपलब्ध कराना।
- महिलाओं को लकड़ी, कोयला और अन्य traditional fuels पर निर्भरता से राहत देना।
- घर के अंदर cooking smoke को कम करने में मदद करना।
- LPG की पहुंच को ग्रामीण और deprived households तक बढ़ाना।
- महिलाओं के लिए cooking को अधिक सुविधाजनक बनाना।
Ujjwala 2.0 में किसे LPG Connection मिल सकता है?
Official PMUY eligibility के अनुसार applicant:
- महिला होनी चाहिए।
- उसकी उम्र 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक होनी चाहिए।
- उसी household में किसी Oil Marketing Company का दूसरा LPG connection नहीं होना चाहिए।
- महिला poor household से संबंधित होनी चाहिए और prescribed deprivation declaration देना होता है।
किन महिलाओं को Ujjwala 2.0 में प्राथमिकता मिल सकती है?
Official PMUY portal पर eligible categories में adult women from:
- SC households
- ST households
- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) households
- Most Backward Classes
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)
- Tea and Ex-Tea Garden Tribes
- Forest Dwellers
- Islands and River Islands में रहने वाले households
- SECC households
- 14-point declaration के अनुसार poor households
शामिल हैं।
क्या Ujjwala 2.0 में पुरुष आवेदन कर सकता है?
नहीं।
PMUY connection के लिए applicant का adult woman होना जरूरी है।
यानी घर के पुरुष सदस्य की जगह eligible महिला के नाम पर PMUY connection लिया जाता है।
Ujjwala 2.0 में उम्र कितनी होनी चाहिए?
Applicant की उम्र कम से कम 18 वर्ष होनी चाहिए।
इसलिए 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र की लड़की अपने नाम से PMUY connection के लिए eligible नहीं है।
क्या एक परिवार में दो Ujjwala Connection मिल सकते हैं?
एक ही household में पहले से LPG connection होने पर नया PMUY connection नहीं दिया जाता।
Official criteria के अनुसार household में किसी Oil Marketing Company का existing LPG connection नहीं होना चाहिए।
Ujjwala 2.0 में क्या-क्या लाभ मिलता है?
Official PMUY FAQ के अनुसार PMUY beneficiary को security deposit-free LPG connection मिलता है।
इसमें prescribed benefits के अंतर्गत:
- 14.2 kg या 5 kg LPG cylinder connection
- Domestic pressure regulator
- 1.2 metre Suraksha Hose
- DGCC booklet
- Free first refill(s)
- Free two-burner stove
जैसे benefits शामिल हैं।
क्या Ujjwala में Cylinder Free मिलता है?
PMUY के तहत eligible beneficiary को prescribed conditions के अनुसार security-deposit-free LPG connection दिया जाता है और official FAQ में free first refill(s) तथा free two-burner stove का भी उल्लेख है।
हालांकि आगे के सामान्य LPG refills को “हमेशा मुफ्त cylinder” समझना सही नहीं है।
क्या Ujjwala 2.0 में चूल्हा भी मिलता है?
हाँ।
Official PMUY FAQ के अनुसार PMUY beneficiary को free two-burner stove का benefit दिया जाता है।
क्या LPG Cylinder पर Subsidy भी मिलती है?
PMUY beneficiaries के लिए LPG refill पर applicable subsidy/support सरकार के निर्णयों और उस समय लागू व्यवस्था के अनुसार हो सकता है।
Official PMUY KYC document में PMUY beneficiaries के लिए LPG refill subsidy का उल्लेख है।
इसलिए subsidy की वर्तमान राशि बताते समय उस समय की official government notification देखना जरूरी है।
Ujjwala 2.0 के लिए कौन-कौन से Documents चाहिए?
Official PMUY portal के अनुसार आवेदन के लिए मुख्य documents में शामिल हैं:
- KYC Application Form
- Applicant का Aadhaar
- Address proof, यदि Aadhaar का address वर्तमान address से अलग है
- Ration Card या family composition प्रमाणित करने वाला State Government document
- परिवार के adult members के Aadhaar
- Bank account details
- Deprivation Declaration
Migrant applicants के लिए prescribed self-declaration का विकल्प भी दिया गया है।
क्या Aadhaar जरूरी है?
PMUY application process में applicant की identity verification के लिए Aadhaar document मांगा जाता है।
Family composition document में शामिल adult family members के Aadhaar की जानकारी भी आवश्यक हो सकती है।
क्या Bank Account जरूरी है?
हाँ, PMUY application में Bank Account Details मांगी जाती हैं। Applicant passbook की copy या cancelled cheque जैसे documents दे सकती है।
Bank details LPG subsidy/DBT से संबंधित processing के लिए भी महत्वपूर्ण हो सकती हैं।
Ujjwala 2.0 में Ration Card क्यों चाहिए?
Ration Card या State Government का family composition प्रमाणित करने वाला document household में शामिल family members की जानकारी verify करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।
Migrant applicants के लिए prescribed self-declaration की सुविधा उपलब्ध है।
क्या Ujjwala 2.0 में Migrant Women भी Apply कर सकती हैं?
हाँ।
Ujjwala 2.0 में migrant households के लिए special facility उपलब्ध कराई गई थी। ऐसे applicants के लिए family composition/address से जुड़े prescribed self-declaration का विकल्प दिया गया है।
Ujjwala 2.0 में Online Apply कैसे करें?
Eligible applicant PMUY के official portal के माध्यम से online application process शुरू कर सकती है।

क्या LPG Distributor पर जाकर Apply कर सकते हैं?
हाँ।
Applicant अपनी पसंद के LPG distributor के पास जाकर PMUY connection के लिए application submit कर सकती है। Official PMUY portal पर online application का विकल्प भी दिया गया है।
Ujjwala 2.0 में सबसे जरूरी बात
अगर आपके household में पहले से किसी family member के नाम पर LPG connection है, तो PMUY के नए connection के लिए eligibility प्रभावित हो सकती है।
इसलिए आवेदन करने से पहले household में existing LPG connection की स्थिति जरूर check करें।
2026 में Ujjwala Yojana की स्थिति
PMUY के official portal पर अगस्त 2026 में भी नए connections जारी होने के आंकड़े उपलब्ध हैं। 26 अगस्त 2026 तक 10.56 करोड़ से अधिक PMUY connections जारी किए जा चुके थे।
सरकार ने PMUY के overall target को 10.6 करोड़ connections तक बढ़ाने के लिए अतिरिक्त 25 लाख LPG connections को मंजूरी दी थी, और ये connections जारी किए जा रहे हैं।
Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 में कितना लाभ मिलता है?
PMUY के तहत eligible beneficiary को security deposit-free LPG connection दिया जाता है। Official PMUY information के अनुसार connection के साथ prescribed equipment और initial refill/stove benefits भी दिए जाते हैं।
Ujjwala Connection में क्या-क्या मिलता है?
Eligible beneficiary को सामान्यतः:
- LPG connection
- Domestic pressure regulator
- Suraksha Hose

क्या Ujjwala में 5 KG Cylinder मिल सकता है?
हाँ। PMUY में 14.2 KG और 5 KG LPG cylinder options उपलब्ध हैं। कौन-सा cylinder connection beneficiary को मिलेगा, यह applicable option और distributor व्यवस्था पर निर्भर करता है।
Ujjwala 2.0 में आवेदन करने के लिए क्या जरूरी है?
सबसे पहले यह सुनिश्चित करें कि:
- Applicant महिला हो।
- उम्र कम से कम 18 वर्ष हो।
- Household में पहले से किसी OMC का LPG connection न हो।

क्या Ujjwala Connection के लिए पैसे देने पड़ते हैं?

क्या Ujjwala में हर बार Cylinder Free मिलता है?
नहीं।
यह समझना बहुत जरूरी है कि PMUY का मतलब हमेशा मुफ्त LPG cylinder मिलना नहीं है।
योजना के तहत prescribed initial refill benefits उपलब्ध हो सकते हैं, जबकि आगे के refills के लिए उस समय लागू LPG price और subsidy/support व्यवस्था लागू होती है।
Ujjwala Subsidy क्या है?
PMUY beneficiaries के लिए LPG refill पर सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर targeted subsidy/support दिया जा सकता है।
Subsidy की राशि और eligibility सरकार के वर्तमान निर्णयों के अनुसार बदल सकती है। इसलिए पुराने सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में बताई गई subsidy राशि को current मानना सही नहीं है।
Subsidy Bank Account में कैसे आती है?
यदि beneficiary applicable LPG subsidy/DBT के लिए eligible है, तो subsidy transfer की प्रक्रिया उसके registered bank account और LPG consumer details के माध्यम से होती है।
इसलिए bank account details सही रखना महत्वपूर्ण है।
क्या Bank Account में Mobile Number जरूरी है?
Application और LPG/DBT records में सही mobile number रखना उपयोगी है क्योंकि verification और service-related communication के लिए इसका इस्तेमाल हो सकता है।
Ujjwala Connection मिलने के बाद क्या करें?
Connection मिलने के बाद:
- LPG cylinder को सुरक्षित स्थान पर रखें।
- Gas pipe और regulator की condition check करें।
- LPG की smell आने पर तुरंत safety instructions follow करें।
- Stove और cylinder को सही तरीके से इस्तेमाल करें।
- केवल authorized distributor से refill लें।
LPG Gas की Smell आए तो क्या करें?
अगर LPG की smell आए तो:
Gas regulator बंद करें → आग/चिंगारी से बचें → electrical switches को operate न करें → दरवाजे-खिड़कियां खोलें → सुरक्षित स्थान पर जाएं → LPG emergency service/distributor से संपर्क करें।
Gas leakage को खुद repair करने की कोशिश न करें।
क्या Ujjwala Connection किसी और के नाम पर Transfer हो सकता है?
LPG connection transfer के नियम applicable OMC procedures पर निर्भर करते हैं। किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति को unofficial तरीके से connection इस्तेमाल करने देने के बजाय संबंधित LPG distributor से official transfer प्रक्रिया की जानकारी लें।
क्या Ujjwala Beneficiary अपना Mobile Number Update कर सकती है?
हाँ, LPG consumer records में mobile number update करने की सुविधा संबंधित OMC/distributor के माध्यम से उपलब्ध हो सकती है।
गलत या बंद mobile number होने पर subsidy और service-related communication प्रभावित हो सकता है।
अगर Ujjwala Application Reject हो जाए तो क्या करें?
सबसे पहले rejection का कारण पता करें।
संभावित कारणों में:
- Household में पहले से LPG connection होना
- गलत/अपूर्ण documents
- KYC में समस्या
- Eligibility criteria पूरा न होना
- Family details में mismatch
जैसी समस्याएं हो सकती हैं।
