PM-USP – Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students (CSSS) भारत सरकार के Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education की merit-based scholarship scheme है। इसका उद्देश्य आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों के मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को higher education जारी रखने के लिए financial support देना है। यह scholarship National Scholarship Portal (NSP) के माध्यम से संचालित होती है।
PM-USP Scholarship 2026-27 क्या है?
PM-USP Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students एक ऐसी scholarship है जिसमें Class 12 में अच्छे प्रदर्शन के आधार पर चुने गए eligible students को undergraduate और आगे की पढ़ाई के दौरान financial assistance दी जाती है।
Academic Year 2026-27 के लिए यह scheme National Scholarship Portal पर available है। NSP के अनुसार 2026-27 में student applications के लिए portal पर scheme की अंतिम तारीख 30 September 2026 दिखाई गई है।
PM-USP Scholarship कितनी राशि देती है?
Official scholarship FAQ के अनुसार:
- Graduation के पहले 3 वर्षों के लिए ₹12,000 प्रति वर्ष
- Post-Graduation level पर ₹20,000 प्रति वर्ष
की scholarship rate निर्धारित है।
यानी eligible student को course और applicable rules के अनुसार higher education के दौरान financial assistance मिल सकती है।
यह Scholarship किसके लिए है?
यह मुख्य रूप से ऐसे मेधावी विद्यार्थियों के लिए है जिन्होंने Class 12 या equivalent examination में अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया है और आगे college/university में undergraduate course में admission लिया है।
लेकिन केवल अच्छे marks होना पर्याप्त नहीं है। Student को scheme की अन्य eligibility conditions भी पूरी करनी होती हैं।
PM-USP Scholarship की Eligibility
Official FAQ के अनुसार fresh application के लिए मुख्य रूप से:
- Student ने current academic year में Class 12 या equivalent examination qualify किया हो।
- Student पहले वर्ष के undergraduate course में enrolled हो।
- Student eligible institution में पढ़ रहा हो।
- Family income scheme की निर्धारित सीमा के भीतर हो।
- Student किसी दूसरी scholarship या benefit के संबंध में scheme की applicable conditions का पालन करता हो।
Class 12 को पुराने academic year में पास करने वाले students fresh application के लिए eligible नहीं होते।
क्या Diploma Students Apply कर सकते हैं?
Fresh PM-USP CSSS scholarship के लिए diploma course में enrolled students eligible नहीं हैं।
Official FAQ स्पष्ट करता है कि केवल current academic year में Class 12/equivalent qualify करने वाले और eligible institution में first-year undergraduate course में enrolled students fresh application कर सकते हैं।
इसलिए केवल 12वीं पास होना ही काफी नहीं है; undergraduate course में admission भी आवश्यक है।
कौन-कौन से Colleges/Universities Eligible हैं?
Official FAQ के अनुसार eligible institutions में broadly:
- UGC Act की Section 2(f) और 12(B) के अंतर्गत आने वाले Universities/Institutions/Colleges
- UGC Act के तहत eligible कुछ Deemed Universities
- Central/State Government funded institutions
- Institutes of National Importance
- संबंधित statutory councils से recognized institutions
शामिल हो सकते हैं।
इसलिए admission लेने से पहले यह verify करना जरूरी है कि आपका institution PM-USP CSSS के लिए eligible है या नहीं।
Family Income की क्या भूमिका है?
PM-USP CSSS में family income eligibility का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है।
Student को scheme की निर्धारित annual family income ceiling के अंदर होना जरूरी है।
Income-related information application में सही भरना चाहिए और जहां आवश्यक हो वहां संबंधित income certificate/document उपलब्ध रखना चाहिए।
गलत income information देने पर application verification में समस्या हो सकती है।
Scholarship Merit Based क्यों है?
PM-USP CSSS एक Merit Based Scheme है।
इसका मतलब scholarship का selection केवल application submit करने पर नहीं होता। Class 12 के academic performance और scheme के निर्धारित selection criteria के आधार पर merit list/selection process में विद्यार्थियों का चयन किया जाता है।
PM-USP में कितनी Scholarships दी जाती हैं?
Scholarship की number और selection process scheme के निर्धारित rules के अनुसार होती है। इसमें State Board/CBSE/ISC आदि से Class 12 में performance के आधार पर merit-based selection की व्यवस्था है।

PM-USP Scholarship के लिए NSP पर OTR क्या है?
National Scholarship Portal पर scholarship application के लिए One Time Registration (OTR) जरूरी है।
NSP के अनुसार OTR एक unique 14-digit number है, जो student की scholarship journey के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।
इसलिए scholarship application शुरू करने से पहले OTR registration पूरा करना जरूरी है।
2026-27 में Scholarship के लिए Important Dates
National Scholarship Portal पर Academic Year 2026-27 के लिए PM-USP CSSS की जानकारी उपलब्ध है।
वर्तमान NSP listing के अनुसार:
Scheme Open: 1 June 2026
Student Application Last Date: 30 September 2026
इसके बाद application verification के लिए अलग-अलग stages की dates निर्धारित हैं।
नोट: Scholarship की dates सरकार/NSP द्वारा बदली जा सकती हैं, इसलिए आवेदन करने से पहले official portal पर latest date जरूर check करें।
PM-USP Scholarship में पैसा कैसे मिलता है?
Scholarship payment government की निर्धारित प्रक्रिया के अनुसार beneficiary student तक पहुंचाया जाता है।
Application में bank account details सही होना जरूरी है और scholarship processing के दौरान verification तथा payment-related checks किए जाते हैं।
इसलिए student को अपने bank account, Aadhaar और application details में किसी भी mismatch से बचना चाहिए।
क्या PM-USP Scholarship हर साल मिलती है?
Scholarship केवल एक बार की सहायता नहीं है। Fresh selection के बाद applicable rules के अनुसार renewal के माध्यम से आगे की अवधि में scholarship जारी रखी जा सकती है।
Renewal के लिए student को scheme की academic और अन्य निर्धारित conditions पूरी करनी होती हैं।
PM-USP Scholarship क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है?

PM-USP CSSS को “हर 12वीं पास छात्र को ₹12,000” वाली योजना समझना गलत होगा।

PM-USP Scholarship 2026-27 — Part 2
PM-USP Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students में scholarship पाने के लिए केवल 12वीं में अच्छे marks होना पर्याप्त नहीं है। Student को eligibility, income, institution, course, merit और application requirements पूरी करनी होती हैं।
PM-USP Scholarship 2026-27 के लिए Eligibility
Fresh scholarship के लिए मुख्य रूप से student को current academic year में Class 12/equivalent examination qualify करके first year के regular undergraduate course में admission लेना चाहिए।
इसके अलावा family income और अन्य scheme conditions भी पूरी करनी होती हैं।
PM-USP Scholarship के लिए कितने Marks चाहिए?
PM-USP में कोई एक fixed percentage जैसे 60%, 70% या 80% सभी students के लिए निर्धारित नहीं है।
Selection Class 12 के academic performance और board-wise merit criteria के आधार पर होता है।
इसलिए केवल यह कहना कि “12वीं में 60% वालों को scholarship मिलेगी” सही नहीं होगा।
Family Income Limit कितनी है?
PM-USP CSSS के लिए student के परिवार की gross annual income ₹4.5 लाख तक होनी चाहिए।
Income की गणना और verification scheme के निर्धारित नियमों के अनुसार होती है।
इसलिए application में family income की सही जानकारी देना जरूरी है।
कौन-से Students PM-USP Scholarship नहीं ले सकते?
कुछ परिस्थितियों में student इस scholarship के लिए eligible नहीं होता।
उदाहरण के लिए:
- Diploma course में enrolled student fresh scholarship के लिए eligible नहीं है।
- अगर student किसी दूसरी scholarship या fee reimbursement scheme का benefit ले रहा है, तो applicable rules के अनुसार PM-USP के लिए eligibility प्रभावित हो सकती है।
- ऐसे students जो scheme की merit या income conditions पूरी नहीं करते, eligible नहीं होंगे।
- Correspondence/distance mode में पढ़ने वाले students के लिए scheme की applicable conditions देखना जरूरी है।
क्या Private College के Students Apply कर सकते हैं?
सिर्फ private college में admission होने या न होने से eligibility तय नहीं होती।
Student का institution PM-USP CSSS के लिए eligible institution होना चाहिए।
इसलिए admission के बाद NSP पर institution की eligibility और available scheme को verify करना जरूरी है।
क्या Government College के Students Apply कर सकते हैं?
हाँ, eligible government colleges/institutions में पढ़ने वाले students scheme की अन्य conditions पूरी करने पर apply कर सकते हैं।
लेकिन केवल government college में admission होना scholarship की guarantee नहीं है।
PM-USP में कौन-से Courses Eligible हैं?

इसलिए केवल course का नाम देखकर eligibility तय नहीं करनी चाहिए; NSP पर institution और scheme eligibility verify करना जरूरी है।
PM-USP Scholarship में कितनी राशि मिलती है?
Scholarship rates इस प्रकार हैं:
Graduation के पहले 3 साल: ₹12,000 प्रति वर्ष
Post-Graduation: ₹20,000 प्रति वर्ष
हालांकि integrated/technical/professional courses के लिए scholarship duration और amount scheme guidelines के अनुसार अलग तरीके से लागू हो सकते हैं।
Scholarship का पैसा कैसे मिलता है?
Scholarship का payment government की निर्धारित DBT/payment process के माध्यम से student के bank account में किया जाता है।

Aadhaar की क्या जरूरत है?
NSP पर scholarship application और authentication process में Aadhaar/OTR से जुड़ी requirements महत्वपूर्ण हैं।

OTR क्या है?
OTR यानी One Time Registration National Scholarship Portal पर student की unique registration identity है।

इसलिए OTR number सुरक्षित रखना चाहिए।
PM-USP Scholarship के लिए कौन-कौन से Documents लग सकते हैं?

PM-USP Scholarship का Renewal कैसे होता है?
Fresh selection के बाद scholarship को आगे जारी रखने के लिए student को renewal application करना होता है।

इसलिए scholarship मिलने के बाद भी student को अपनी पढ़ाई और academic performance पर ध्यान देना जरूरी है।
क्या Scholarship छोड़ने पर दोबारा मिल सकती है?
अगर student scholarship छोड़ देता है या renewal conditions पूरी नहीं करता, तो future eligibility scheme के applicable rules पर निर्भर करेगी।
इसलिए scholarship को discontinue करने से पहले official guidelines जरूर check करनी चाहिए।
क्या एक Student को दूसरी Scholarship भी मिल सकती है?
PM-USP CSSS में एक समय में दूसरी scholarship/fee reimbursement scheme के साथ benefit लेने पर restrictions हो सकती हैं।
इसलिए student को दूसरी scholarship लेते समय PM-USP की applicable conditions जरूर देखनी चाहिए।
अगर College बदल जाए तो क्या होगा?
College/institution बदलने की स्थिति में student को NSP पर उपलब्ध applicable process के अनुसार अपने scholarship records को update/verify करना पड़ सकता है।
यह जरूरी है क्योंकि scholarship का continuation eligible institution और course से जुड़ा होता है।
Application में गलती हो जाए तो क्या करें?
Application submit करने से पहले सभी details carefully check करें।

PM-USP Scholarship का Renewal कैसे करें?
जिन students को पहले scholarship मिली है और वे आगे भी scheme की conditions पूरी करते हैं, उन्हें निर्धारित समय पर renewal application करना होता है।
Renewal के लिए student को academic performance और अन्य applicable conditions पूरी करनी होती हैं।
इसलिए scholarship मिलने के बाद भी renewal application को समय पर submit करना जरूरी है।
क्या PM-USP Scholarship में OTR जरूरी है?
हाँ। National Scholarship Portal पर scholarship application के लिए One Time Registration (OTR) महत्वपूर्ण requirement है।
OTR generate होने के बाद उसका number सुरक्षित रखें और किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति के साथ अनावश्यक रूप से share न करें।
OTR भूल जाएं तो क्या करें?

PM-USP Scholarship में Application Verification कैसे होता है?
Application submit होने के बाद निर्धारित verification process के अनुसार application की जांच की जाती है।
Verification में academic information, institution, eligibility, income और अन्य submitted details की जांच हो सकती है।

अगर Application Reject हो जाए तो क्या करें?
